President

Rachel Mann is the current President  at The Invercargill Club. She joined the committee in 2018.  She is passionate about caring for this much loved historical building and making sure it can be enjoyed for many generations to come.  When not at the club she is the Programme Manager for the School of Screen Arts. She is passionate about game design and animation.

Vice President

I am based in Invercargill and have been a member of the Invercargill Club since 2019. I share my time between family, full-time work at the Southern DHB as their Asset Manager, part-time work for the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) as an online facilitator in their Bachelor of Applied Management, and as the managing director of the Factory Invercargill, a local Craft Brewery. Apart from work my personal interest vary between sailing, archery, music, and fishing. As a committee member I aim to support the Invercargill Club in a well balanced, proactive and strategic way forward.

Treasurer

Greg Buzzard is the Treasurer of the Invercargill Club.  He has been a member since 2016 and a committee member since 2019.  Greg is CFO of PowerNet, who collectively manage electricity distribution businesses throughout Southland and Otago [and is the fourth largest such business in NZ].  He is a competitive bridge and table tennis player and social golfer.  Together with partner Janene they enjoy the social atmosphere, various functions and diverse membership of the Club.

Secretary

Tracey joined the Committee in 2022 as Secretary, and is keen to see the traditions, history and social side of the Club continue.  Tracey is Company Secretary for PowerNet Limited including its subsidiaries and joint ventures, and a part time Marriage and Funeral Celebrant.

Along with her husband Shane, Tracey loves spending time with her family of two married adult children, their partners, and grandchildren in increasing numbers.  Tracey and Shane enjoy the varied events held at the Club, and the warm relaxed atmosphere to meet up with friends.

Spare time is focussed on family catch ups, music (one of the trio Folkinfusion, and one of the organisers of GET FOLKed at the Southland Musicians Club), friends, our beautiful parks, natural health, meditation, writing, crochet, walking our labradoodles and hoping to revive some sewing skills

Committee Member

Stuart Collie is a retired farmer, with past involvement in Local Government, farming politics, Education sector and Company Directorships. Stuart is committed to the club as he believes "The Invercargill Club is a wonderful historic establishment with the ambience to match its history”.

Committee Member

Rowena joined the committee in 2020 and enjoys the social aspect of the club & the varied events available. She has 30 years financial services industry experience and is the Group Chief Risk Officer at SBS Bank.  Her interests include reading, music, cheese making & wine appreciation.

Committee Member

In 2019, Phil became a member of the club and later joined the committee in 2023. Fifteen years prior, as a 19 year old Phil first walked into the club to participate in snooker competitions, forming fond memories of the place. Inspired by its rich history Phil believes the club should look to continue to grow and cement its place not just in the history of Invercargill but in the future too.

Phil is the founder of Invercargill-based Back9 Creative Studio, which specializes in web/app design and digital marketing.

Despite being an avid snooker player and enjoying various sports (mostly as a spectator), his golf skills still remain modest.

Phil's dedication extends beyond the club's committee, as he is currently the president of Invercargill Sunrise Rotary Club and contributes to the Events and Marketing for Southland Charity Hospital. He also serves on the Southern Billiards and Snooker Committee. When not immersed in these responsibilities, Phil enjoys digital illustration and cherishes time spent with his family.
